Pull the shuttle on through, and use the weaving comb (looks like a hair pick!) to push the yarn to the bottom of the frame. Then, Weave the shuttle through the loom, going under the opposite sides of the warp yarns as the shed stick. First, you take the shed stick - basically a small ruler - and weave it into the loom. but it worked anyway!įinally, it's time to make some fabric. The instructions specify a figure of eight motion that I'm not sure I quite figured out. Next, you need to "wind the weft" which means winding the yarn around the shuttle - a long stick with notches in each end. Tie it down on the other end and done! Wind the Weft Then it's time to "set up the warp." This means tying down one end of the yarn and then wind it back and forth over the surface of the frame, between the notches on the spacing bars. The spacing bars slide onto the frame - and it's all set to go! Ready in seconds.
